Tawakal Community Development Hub (TCDH) is a registered not-for-profit community that provides newcomer settlement services to the Edmonton Region and the surrounding areas.

Our Mission

Our community’s mission is to improve the quality of life of the newcomer community in Edmonton by providing them with the support, information and services necessary for healthy integration into Canadian society.

Our Mandate

The Tawakal Community Development Hub (TCDH) is to identify and address the challenges associated with the duality of cultures among newcomers, provide programs and services that promote cross-cultural understanding and address barriers to communication, integration, and access, facilitate opportunities for self-development among newcomers and network with other service providers with similar goals and objectives.
